Ya'at'eeh! (Hello!)

Welcome to my jewelry blog!

I am Navajo and I was raised on the Navajo Reservation where there are many very talented artisans who have inspired me. As a young girl I always enjoyed browsing the Gallup flea market, the arts and crafts stores and trading posts, as well as what independent vendors brought into restaurants to sell. I would remember the pieces I liked the most and then go home and create a piece of jewelry for myself that was inspired by the pieces I had seen.

I have always enjoyed making jewelry for myself, for friends, and for family. I find a lot of joy in making something beautiful and coming up with new ideas and patterns. I am especially excited to take on this new adventure and begin sharing that with you!
